Javaabu CEO Participates in National Panel Discussion on Online Gaming Risks

Javaabu CEO Mohamed Jailam took part as a panelist in a televised discussion addressing “The Dark Side of Online Gaming”, a topic explored under the Dhilaasaa program jointly run by Television Maldives (TVM) and the Ministry of Education.

The session, recorded earlier this evening, brought together experts and stakeholders to examine the growing concerns surrounding excessive gaming, online safety, and the psychological and social impacts on young people. The program aims to promote awareness among parents, students, and educators as digital entertainment continues to evolve rapidly across the Maldives.

Jailam contributed insights from a technology and community engagement perspective, highlighting the importance of digital literacy, parental awareness, and balanced screen time. He emphasized the need for constructive dialogue and collaborative national efforts to mitigate risks while encouraging healthy and responsible use of digital platforms.
