Javaabu Leadership Joins National Technical Panel on AI and Data Science Diploma

Javaabu’s CEO and CTO took part today in the first technical panel meeting convened to develop the proposed National Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

The meeting was organised by the Maldives National Skills Development Authority and brought together key stakeholders involved in shaping national education and skills standards. The session marked the initial step in establishing a structured academic framework for AI and data science education in the Maldives.

As members of the technical panel, Javaabu’s leadership contributed to discussions on curriculum direction, industry relevance, and the competencies required to prepare students for emerging roles in technology and data-driven fields. The initiative is being carried out under the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development.

Javaabu stated that its participation reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting national capacity building in advanced technologies and ensuring that education pathways remain aligned with real-world industry needs.

The company welcomed the collaborative approach taken by the authority and noted the importance of continued engagement between policymakers, educators, and industry professionals as the programme moves forward.
