Javaabu Wins 3rd Place at the Best 5 Apps Competition 2017

Javaabu’s innovative app BooksMV has secured 3rd place in the Best 5 Apps Competition 2017, an event organized by the Ministry of Economic Development under the Enterprise Development initiative. The competition recognizes outstanding Maldivian-built smart applications demonstrating strong local relevance and the potential to scale globally.

BooksMV, designed to enhance access to Dhivehi literature and support local authors, was praised for its impact and technical quality. The achievement highlights Javaabu’s continued commitment to developing meaningful digital solutions that contribute positively to the Maldivian community.

The awardees were announced ahead of the Maldives Investment Forum 2017 in Dubai, where Javaabu was also scheduled to participate. The recognition further strengthens Javaabu’s position as a key contributor in the nation’s growing digital innovation landscape.

Enterprise Development Maldives congratulated the BooksMV team publicly, further underscoring the significance of the award within the local tech ecosystem.
