Javaabu completes full Dhivehi translation of BigBlueButton

Javaabu has announced the completion of a full Dhivehi translation for BigBlueButton, an open-source virtual classroom platform widely used for online learning. The platform, similar to Zoom and Google Meet, is designed to support localised virtual classrooms, including setups on island-wide networks without the need for internet connectivity.

Over the past month, Javaabu’s team worked on translating the entire system to Dhivehi. With this update, Dhivehi has become one of only three languages to achieve 100% translation coverage on the platform.

The translated interface is now available for verification and community review through Transifex.
