Javaabu’s “Filaa” Online Learning Resources Platform Adopted Nationwide

Javaabu has announced that Filaa, an Online Learning Resources platform developed under its CSR initiative for the Maldives Ministry of Education, is now being actively utilized by schools across the country to share educational content with students.

The platform, designed to centralize notes, worksheets, assignments, and subject-specific learning materials, was developed by the Javaabu team in an accelerated 24-hour development sprint and officially handed over to the Ministry earlier in March.

Featuring search and filtering capabilities by school, grade, subject, and resource type, Filaa provides a streamlined digital environment to support distance learning—particularly crucial amid the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing disruptions to traditional classroom settings.

Javaabu highlighted the significance of ensuring students have uninterrupted access to learning materials during the crisis and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national educational continuity.

The platform is publicly accessible at: https://filaa.moe.gov.mv

Javaabu encouraged educators and students to make full use of Filaa as part of the broader national effort to maintain learning outcomes during the pandemic.
