Javaabu Develops New Accessible Website for the Department of Inclusive Education

Javaabu Pvt Ltd has successfully developed and launched the new official website for the Department of Inclusive Education (DIE), introducing a modern and accessibility-focused digital platform designed to better support students, educators, and families across the Maldives.

The website, available at https://ied.gov.mv, incorporates a range of inclusive features such as adjustable font sizes, built-in narration, dark mode, and a clean, user-friendly interface to ensure wider accessibility. These enhancements aim to make educational resources more easily usable for individuals with varying needs, including those with visual or learning impairments.

The launch coincides with the closing ceremony of several key initiatives led by the Department of Inclusive Education, where officials highlighted the importance of accessible digital tools in supporting national inclusive education goals. The Ministry of Education emphasized that the new website plays a vital role in strengthening communication, improving resource delivery, and ensuring inclusivity across the country’s education sector.
