Javaabu was featured as part of Salaf Rihla 2025, where well-known Maldivian coding experts, including Javaabu CEO Jailam, were invited to engage with participants across several islands. The programme highlighted the growing importance of digital literacy and technical skill development within local communities. Salaf Rihla is a multi-day community engagement event organized by local NGO Jamiyyath Salaf.
Salaf Rihla 2025 was supported by a broad network of organisations. Key sponsors included ALIA Investments PVT LTD, CLEAN HOUSE, Hijaz Hajj And Umrah, Ref Cool, and the State Trading Organization Plc. A wide range of island councils and atoll councils participated as associates, among them the Secretariats of Mahibadhoo, South Ariatholhu, Hangnaameedhoo, Kun'burudhoo, Fenfushi, Maamigili, Dhangethi, Dhidhdhoo (South Ariatholhu), Dhigurah, Mandhoo, and Omadhoo.
Co-associate partners included the Maamigili Islamic Foundation, Falcon – Youth & Recreation, Al Bayyinah, Jamiyyathul Qalam, the Maldives Institute of Technology, and Javaabu.
The event was further supported by broadcasting and media partners Dhaaris TV and Nukuthaa.
