Javaabu continues its Training Thursdays with sessions on AI image generation and machine learning fundamentals

Malé, Maldives, August 1, 2024 Javaabu held another session of its weekly Training Thursdays programme, featuring presentations that combined creative AI applications with core machine learning concepts.

This week, Multimedia Creative Designer Annu delivered a talk on AI image generation, demonstrating how modern image models can be trained and adapted for Maldivian contexts. As part of the session, he showcased a Dhivehi Libaas model he had finetuned, illustrating how AI can support local design, visualisation and creative experimentation.

Machine Learning Research Engineer Yameen followed with a technical lesson on Linear Regression and Loss Functions, offering the team a clearer understanding of how predictive models learn and optimise. His session covered the mathematical intuition behind linear models and the role of loss functions in guiding model training.

Training Thursdays remains a key initiative within Javaabu, helping team members develop new skills and deepen their knowledge across both creative and technical disciplines.
