Athfan Mausoom

Athfan Mausoom is a Full-Stack Developer at Javaabu Pvt Ltd, who joined the company in early 2025 and has since become a key contributor to the engineering team. As the second team member named Athfan at Javaabu, he quickly distinguished himself through his technical depth, adaptability, and professional experience.

With over eight years of industry experience, Athfan brings seasoned expertise across the Laravel and Vue.js ecosystems, along with strong proficiency in MySQL. His transition into Javaabu was seamless—he rapidly mastered the company’s internal tools and proprietary packages, enabling him to contribute effectively to active projects almost immediately. At Javaabu, he works as a core full-stack developer, contributing across backend architecture, frontend implementation, and system integration.

Athfan previously worked at Aasandha Company, the Maldives’ national health insurance provider, where he gained experience building and maintaining systems within a highly regulated, mission-critical environment. This background has strengthened his ability to translate complex operational needs into reliable software solutions.

In addition to web development, Athfan is skilled in mobile application development using React Native, adding valuable cross-platform capability to the engineering team. He also works closely with clients, gathering and formulating requirements specifications and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered systems meet both technical and business expectations.

Academically, Athfan holds a Diploma in Java Technologies from NIIT Academy, New Delhi, and a National Certificate III in Programming from Cyryx College. He is currently pursuing Bachelors of Software Engineering at Mianz College, Maldives. While he currently thrives as a software developer, he has a personal interest in the medical field as well, bringing a unique healthcare-informed perspective to technology development.

Outside of work and study, Athfan is a formidable chess player, applying the same strategic thinking and analytical precision to the game as he does to his engineering work.
