DhivehiGPT Reaches 3 Million Prompts, Marking a Major Milestone for Dhivehi AI
DhivehiGPT has reached a significant new milestone, surpassing three million prompts answered across more than 1.8 million chat sessions. The achievement reflects the platform’s growing role in bringing the Dhivehi language into the modern digital age and making advanced artificial intelligence more accessible to Maldivians.
The milestone follows DhivehiGPT’s two-million-prompt achievement in December 2025, demonstrating continued growth in the use of locally developed, Dhivehi-focused AI tools for education, work, research, creativity and everyday tasks.
Three Million Prompts and Growing
Usage of the platform continues to accelerate. During peak hours, DhivehiGPT now receives a new prompt approximately every seven seconds, highlighting the increasing demand for AI services designed around the needs of Dhivehi speakers.
Growing Across Every Service
The platform’s growth extends well beyond its conversational AI service. DhivehiGPT has now transcribed nearly 2,000 hours of audio, welcomed around 120,000 registered users, processed more than 200,000 pages through its optical character recognition service and generated over 100 hours of text-to-speech audio. Together with its three million prompts and more than 1.8 million chat sessions, these figures reflect the growing adoption of DhivehiGPT’s wider suite of language technology tools.
The milestones demonstrate the increasing importance of building practical digital services that understand and support the Dhivehi language, while enabling users to benefit from modern technologies through tools designed around their everyday needs.
