Javaabu Academy, in collaboration with Bridging the Communities Maldives (BCM), Malé City Council, and the Women’s Development Committee, conducted a Smartphone Content Creation Training Programme on July 11, 2026.
The three-hour programme was held from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Malé City Hall and was facilitated by Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam. A total of 18 participants successfully completed the training.
The session focused on helping participants create better photos, videos, and social media content using only their smartphones. It introduced practical techniques for shooting, editing, posting, and improving digital content for personal, professional, and community use.
The programme was open to participants free of charge, supporting wider access to practical digital skills and creative learning opportunities.
BCM is a community organization whose mission includes empowering youth and women, promoting social welfare, raising awareness on environmental issues, terrorism, extremist ideologies and acts, as well as supporting the development of health education.
Through Javaabu Academy, Javaabu continues to support digital literacy, youth empowerment, and practical technology education for communities across the Maldives.
Javaabu extends sincere appreciation to Bridging the Communities Maldives, Malé City Council, and the Women’s Development Committee for the collaboration and for their efforts in creating meaningful learning opportunities for the community.
