After more than eight years of building websites and digital platforms for others, Javaabu has officially launched its own corporate website—bringing an end to a long-running internal joke within the team.
The Javaabu official website was formally launched on February 1, 2026, by Mohamed Hussain Shareef (Mundhu), Ambassador of the Maldives to the United Arab Emirates, during a dinner hosted for the Maldivian delegation attending the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2026.
The launch coincided with the conclusion of Javaabu’s participation at SEF 2026, where the team met investors, showcased its products to an international audience, and built new global connections as part of its plans to expand beyond the Maldivian market.
The newly launched website, available at javaabu.com, presents a comprehensive overview of the company. It includes Javaabu’s business profile, project portfolio, services offered, detailed profiles of team members, news articles, research work, and information on its products.
The website was designed by Javaabu's UI/UX Designer Noor Yoosuf, with visual assets and graphics created by Multimedia Creative Designer Mohamed Anaadh Hussain (Annu). The system architecture and development were led by Javaabu’s Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Arushad Ahmed.
Speaking at the launch, Javaabu CEO Mohamed Jailam noted that historically the company did not rely heavily on marketing within the Maldivian market, as much of its work involved government clients and projects awarded through formal bidding processes. However, as Javaabu expands internationally, a strong online presence has become essential.
“As we take Javaabu abroad, we need a platform that clearly tells our story - who we are, what we’ve built, and what we stand for - to partners and clients outside the Maldives.
”
In the lead-up to the launch, the entire Javaabu team worked intensively to populate the website with content in time for the SEF 2026 deadline. The company noted that this is only the beginning, with more content to be added in the coming days and weeks.
Future updates will include expanded news coverage documenting the full history of Javaabu dating back to its founding in 2016, as well as a more detailed showcase of projects delivered over the years and deeper insights into the company’s research and products.
With the launch of its official website, Javaabu now has a central platform to share its journey, highlight its work, and engage with clients and partners both locally and internationally—marking a new chapter in the company’s growth.
