Javaabu Partners as Technology Partner for Manfaa Quran Camp 2026 in ADh. Mahibadhoo

Javaabu partnered with Manfaa Organization as the technology partner for the Manfaa Quran Camp 2026, held in ADh. Mahibadhoo from 26 to 28 August 2026. The partnership formed part of Javaabu's corporate social responsibility efforts to support NGOs and island communities through technology and knowledge sharing.

The Manfaa Quran Camp brought together Quran recitation competitions, workshops, lectures, and activities for children, with participation open to residents of Mahibadhoo and other islands. The programme also featured prominent Maldivian Qaris who contributed through workshops, lectures, and judging the Quran competitions.

As technology partner, Javaabu developed a dedicated web application to facilitate online auditions for the Quran competition. The online audition system enabled participants to take part in the preliminary stage digitally before selected participants progressed to the competition rounds held in Mahibadhoo.

Javaabu also developed dedicated software for use during the competition to display to participating children the portions they were required to recite. Both systems were developed under Javaabu's CSR programme by Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam, who also joined the team travelling to Mahibadhoo for the camp.

Alongside the Quran Camp, Javaabu conducted two practical artificial intelligence awareness sessions in Mahibadhoo as part of its broader commitment to sharing technology skills with island communities.

On 26 August, Mohamed Jailam facilitated an “AI in Education” session for teachers of Mahibadhoo School. The session explored practical ways educators can use common AI tools to support teaching, lesson preparation, productivity, and everyday educational tasks. Participants were also introduced to DhivehiGPT and ways the Dhivehi AI platform can be used within an educational setting.

A second session, “AI for Work Efficiency,” was held on 27 August for members of the Mahibadhoo Island Council. Facilitated by Jailam, the session focused on using commonly available AI tools to improve workplace efficiency, streamline everyday tasks, and support administrative work. The session also demonstrated practical uses of DhivehiGPT in the workplace.

Through initiatives such as these, Javaabu continues to support NGOs and island communities by contributing technology, digital solutions, and practical knowledge under its CSR programme. The company believes that making useful technology and emerging digital skills more accessible can help community organisations and local institutions create greater impact.
