Javaabu Conducts AI Efficiency Training for Ministry of Health Under CSC MoU

Javaabu conducted an artificial intelligence training session for staff of the Ministry of Health, Family and Welfare on July 8, 2026, as part of its ongoing collaboration with the Civil Service Commission of the Maldives.

Titled “AI Basics for Efficiency,” the session was the final component of the Ministry’s Monthly Special Program for the month of July, held across July 5, 7, and 8. It was facilitated by Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam in collaboration with the Civil Service Training Institute.

The training marked the sixth session delivered under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Javaabu and the Civil Service Commission. The partnership focuses on strengthening AI literacy among civil servants and promoting the practical, responsible use of emerging technologies across government institutions.

During the session, participants were introduced to commonly used AI tools and practical ways these technologies can support greater efficiency in everyday work. The training explored how AI can assist with routine tasks, improve productivity, and help staff dedicate more time to higher-value responsibilities.

The session also covered the use of DhivehiGPT, Javaabu’s Dhivehi artificial intelligence platform, demonstrating how Dhivehi-language AI tools can support workplace communication and other local-language tasks.

Ministry staff showed strong participation throughout the session, engaging with the demonstrations and discussions on applying AI within their respective areas of work.

Through its partnership with the Civil Service Commission and the Civil Service Training Institute, Javaabu continues to support AI literacy, workforce capacity building, and the wider digital transformation of the Maldives’ public sector.

Further training sessions are expected to be conducted for additional ministries in the coming months as the programme continues across government institutions.
