Javaabu Facilitates AI Session for Infrastructure Ministry

Javaabu facilitated an artificial intelligence training session for staff of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development on September 1, 2026, under its ongoing collaboration with the Civil Service Commission of the Maldives.

The session was held as part of the Civil Service Monthly Special Programme for the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, conducted from August 30 to September 1, 2026.

The final session of the programme, “AI Basics for Efficiency,” was facilitated by Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam, focusing on practical ways artificial intelligence can support workplace productivity and efficiency.

This marked the tenth session delivered under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Javaabu and the Civil Service Commission, in partnership with the Civil Service Training Institute.

During the session, participants were introduced to commonly used AI tools and practical approaches to applying them in day-to-day work. The session highlighted how AI can help reduce repetitive tasks, support drafting and research, and improve overall efficiency across public sector workflows.

The training also covered DhivehiGPT, Javaabu’s Dhivehi artificial intelligence platform, demonstrating how local-language AI tools can support Dhivehi-language communication, content creation, and other workplace tasks.

Through the continued programme with the Civil Service Commission and the Civil Service Training Institute, Javaabu remains committed to supporting AI literacy, workforce capacity building, and digital transformation across the Maldives’ public sector.
