Javaabu facilitated an artificial intelligence training session for staff of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness on October 13, 2026, under its ongoing collaboration with the Civil Service Commission of the Maldives.
The session was held as part of the Civil Service Monthly Special Programme for the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness, conducted from October 13 to 15, 2026.
The first session of the programme, “AI Basics for Efficiency,” was held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Youth Hub, Malé, and was facilitated by Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam.
This marked the thirteenth session delivered under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Javaabu and the Civil Service Commission, in partnership with the Civil Service Training Institute.
During the session, participants were introduced to practical ways artificial intelligence can support workplace efficiency and productivity. The session focused on helping civil servants understand how AI tools can assist with daily tasks, reduce repetitive work, and support more effective public service delivery.
The training also covered DhivehiGPT, Javaabu’s Dhivehi artificial intelligence platform, highlighting how local-language AI tools can support Dhivehi-language communication, drafting, and other workplace tasks.
Through its continued partnership with the Civil Service Commission and the Civil Service Training Institute, Javaabu remains committed to supporting AI literacy, workforce capacity building, and digital transformation across the Maldives’ public sector.
