Javaabu CEO Mohamed Jailam Conducts Content Creation Training at Salaf 2nd Du’āt Conference

Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam conducted a training session on content creation at Jamiyyath Salaf’s 2nd Annual Conference of the Council of Preachers (Majlis al-Du’āt), held at Kudagiri on September 11, 2026.

The session was delivered as part of the three-day conference, which runs from September 11 to 13 and brings together local and international scholars, preachers, and professionals to share scholarly expertise, technical knowledge, and practical field experience. Jailam’s session contributed to the practical learning component of the conference, focusing on content creation for participants engaged in da’wah and community work.

Jailam brings extensive experience across technology, education, video production, and graphic design. Through Javaabu Academy, he regularly conducts professional training in areas including artificial intelligence, coding, video production, and graphic design, and has taught more than 1,000 students. His wider capacity-building work spans government institutions, educational organizations, the private sector, and civil society.

Jamiyyath Salaf’s Council of Preachers was established to support the preservation of Islamic principles in the Maldives, increase religious awareness, address challenges relating to religious matters, and strengthen the organization and delivery of Islamic propagation through Islamic morals and ethics with greater participation from religious scholars.

The 2nd Annual Conference was inaugurated on September 11 by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed. The conference also brings together visiting scholars from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, alongside local participants, to contribute scholarly knowledge, technical expertise, and practical field experience throughout the gathering.

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) is the title sponsor of this year’s conference, with Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), and Dhaaris TV also supporting the event.

The session continues Javaabu’s engagement with programmes organized by Jamiyyath Salaf. In August, Jailam facilitated an AI-focused session titled “AI Powered NGO for a Caring Society” at the BML Islamic NGO Conference 2026, where 40 NGOs came together to explore community-focused initiatives and practical approaches to strengthening their work.

Javaabu was also involved in Salaf Rihla 2025, a multi-day community engagement programme in which Jailam participated as a coding expert. Javaabu joined the programme as a co-associate partner, contributing to efforts aimed at strengthening digital literacy and technical skills within island communities.

Through these engagements, Javaabu continues to share practical digital knowledge and capacity-building expertise with organizations working across education, community development, and civil society in the Maldives.
