Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam joined BML Islamic Lakusana 2026 in HDh. Nolhivaran as a facilitator, conducting practical sessions focused on helping educators and businesses make meaningful use of artificial intelligence.

Held from August 5 to August 8, 2026, in HDh. Nolhivaran, BML Islamic Lakusana 2026 brought together scholars, educators, facilitators, and members of the community for a multi-day program combining learning, personal development, and community engagement.

The program was organized by Peace Foundation, a non-governmental organization established on Islamic principles and focused on fostering a righteous and morally grounded society. Through educational programs, workshops, youth activities, and community initiatives, the foundation works to support personal and social development across communities in the Maldives.

As part of the Nolhivaran program, Jailam facilitated an AI for Educators workshop focused on practical ways artificial intelligence can support teaching and learning. The session explored the use of AI tools for areas such as studying, research, lesson planning, and other everyday educational workflows, with an emphasis on using the technology effectively and responsibly.

Jailam also conducted an AI App Development for Business session, introducing participants to practical applications of artificial intelligence in a business environment. The workshop covered how AI can assist areas such as marketing, operations, content creation, and the development of useful digital solutions for businesses.

The sessions build on Jailam's continued work in AI education and capacity building through Javaabu. His work includes professional and community training on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and responsible AI adoption, alongside Javaabu's ongoing research and development efforts in the field.

The Nolhivaran event follows Jailam's participation in Lakusana 2026 in M. Dhiggaru earlier this year. During the April edition, he facilitated dedicated AI sessions for youth, educators, and businesses, covering productivity and ethical AI use, applications of AI in education, and the use of modern AI-assisted development tools for business.

Across both editions, the sessions have focused on making emerging technology approachable to different sections of the community and demonstrating how AI can be applied to practical, real-world needs.

On the sidelines of BML Islamic Lakusana 2026, Jailam also conducted a dedicated AI training session for HDh. Nolhivaran Council. The session explored practical ways artificial intelligence can support the work of local institutions, while also introducing participants to DhivehiGPT, Javaabu's Dhivehi AI platform, and demonstrating how locally focused AI tools can help make emerging technology more accessible and useful in everyday work.
