Javaabu conducted an artificial intelligence training session for staff of the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology on July 12, 2026, as part of its ongoing collaboration with the Civil Service Commission of the Maldives.
Titled “AI Basics for Efficiency,” the session was the final component of the Ministry’s Monthly Special Program, held on July 11 and 12 at Customs Building, Male’. It was facilitated by Javaabu Co-Founder and CEO Mohamed Jailam.
The training marked the seventh session delivered under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Javaabu and the Civil Service Commission. The programme is designed to strengthen AI literacy among civil servants and support the practical use of AI tools across government institutions.
During the session, participants were introduced to commonly used AI tools and practical ways these technologies can help improve workplace efficiency. The discussion focused on how AI can support daily tasks, reduce repetitive work, and enable staff to work more effectively.
The session also covered the use of DhivehiGPT, Javaabu’s Dhivehi artificial intelligence platform, highlighting how local-language AI tools can support communication, drafting, and other Dhivehi-language tasks in the workplace.
Through its partnership with the Civil Service Commission, Javaabu continues to support AI literacy, workforce capacity building, and digital transformation across the Maldives’ public sector.
Further training sessions are expected to be conducted for additional ministries in the coming months as the programme continues.
