Javaabu successfully conducted the third AI training session under its ongoing collaboration with the Civil Service Commission, as part of the Monthly Special Program organised by the Civil Service Training Institute. This programme builds on the partnership formalised through the MoU with the Civil Service Commission, aimed at strengthening AI literacy across government institutions.
This month’s programme was conducted for staff of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and was held from 7th to 9th April 2026 at the Male’ Islamic Center conference hall. The sessions brought together participants from across the ministry for hands-on learning and practical exposure to modern AI tools.
The final session, held on 9th April, was delivered by Javaabu and focused on “AI Basics for Efficiency.” The session was facilitated by Mohamed Jailam, CEO of Javaabu, and Ahmed Yameen, Machine Learning Research Engineer. Together, they guided participants through practical ways to leverage AI to improve workplace productivity.
The session covered widely used AI tools and demonstrated how they can be integrated into day-to-day tasks to save time, enhance output quality, and support better decision-making. Participants were also introduced to DhivehiGPT and its features, with a focus on how it can be effectively used for Dhivehi-language tasks within government workflows.
Staff from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs actively participated throughout the programme, making the sessions highly engaging and interactive. The strong level of participation reflected a growing interest in adopting AI tools to improve efficiency within the public sector.
Javaabu remains committed to supporting capacity building and digital transformation initiatives across the Maldives through continued collaboration with the Civil Service Commission and the Civil Service Training Institute.
